Natrona County Convention 2008
After searching for a gate opening to the Events Center where the Convention was to be held, the Event began with great enthusiasm and turnout.

First order of business: Prayer by Stan Lowe, National Anthem lead by Kenn Gilchrist, Pledge of Allegience lead by Bill Cubin.
Followed by: Credentials Committee: Rosa Goolsby and Heidi Walker presented Delegate and Alternate Procedures.

Secretary, Cheryl Sorenson, provided the total number of Delegates and Alternates eligible to vote for who will go to National Convention.
- Nominee chosen by NCRP Chairman Bill Cubin: - Mitt Romney stating; "The Romney's have shown the most support for our State, in fact
The Romney's have been here every month since May of 2007, Romney supports our Coal Industry and Energy Independence."
Note: Josh and Craig Romney were present at the Convention.
- Nominee chosen by Kyle True: - Kyle remains uncommitted for now allowing time to learn more about all the candidates and
selecting the one which will be the best candidate for the State of Wyoming.
- Tallies of all votes - Kyle True will be the Alternate to represent us at National Convention.

State Representatives Present: Kit Jennings - Senate District 28, Drew Perkins - Senate District 29, Bill Landen - Senate District 27, Roy Cohee - House District 35, Tom Lockhart - House District 57, Bob Brechtel - House District 38;
also attending was County Commissioner Jon Campbell.
Our Representative show a great strength for our County and State, they all were very compassionate about our economy, growth, multiple use for public lands and keeping government small and out of our families business.
A large part of the Convention took time with changes and amendments to the bylaws, platform and resolutions, these documents are voted on by the delegates. These documents will be posted soon. |
| At the close of the meeting a Wyoming Election Day Party was held for all attending at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel - Hosted by Josh and Craig Romney. |
