Filing Dates:
May 3rd to August 2nd: Filing period for Supreme Court Justices, District Court Judges and Circuit Court Judges.
May 13th to May 28th: Filing period for application for nomination of partisan candidates, includes precinct persons*
* Precinct Persons must be registered Republican voters and live in the precinct they filed in (there are no time limitations).
August 4th to 23rd: Filing period for candidates for School or Community College Trustee and special district subsequent Directors.
Election Dates:
May 4th: Town Election June 10th: Last day to certify the list of primary election candidates. June 30th: Last day for the County Clerk to appoint election judges and counting board members. July19th: Voter registration closes. August 17th: Primary Election Day. November 2nd: General Election Day.
